Bonocler is an independent Swiss eyewear label that wants to change the eyewear market. They offer high-quality, hand-made, in-house designed corrective and sunglasses at a fair price. This is made possible by the waiver of intermediate trade and their strong manufacturing partner. The brand is also a certified climate neutral company by Climate Partner.
Bon comes from French - it stands for good - and cler is the Rhaeto-Romanic word for clear. Bonocler is bon & cler in design, quality, price and social commitment.
They believe that everyone should see clearly. Unfortunately, this is not the case: 150 million people around the world need glasses but cannot afford them. That is why they support sustainable development through their partnership with OneDollarGlasses: with every purchase of glasses, an eye test and adjustment are made possible for a person in need.
Bonocler glasses are lovingly handcrafted in Greece, not far from Athens. Their glasses are made of acetate, a natural product that consists largely of cotton. The brand is convinced by the flexibility and diversity of this material, as it consists of renewable raw materials, is hypoallergenic, and offers inexhaustible color combinations. The material is environmentally friendly and is known for its lightness and comfort.
