Within the four walls of their villa in Ramatuelle, or on the scorching slabs surrounding The Swimming Pool, Alain Delon and Romy Schneider dazzle us with their insolent beauty. He wears just a brown paisley swimsuit, here given a more contemporary cut that still has a vintage feel.

Care instructions ⏤ Your swim shorts have been lovingly made from top quality materials, so that they can accompany you on your aquatic adventures for a long time to come. This is how we recommend you take care of it:
If your swim shorts need washing, we recommend a machine wash on a delicates cycle at 30°C, with items of a similar colour, using a gentle detergent.
⏤ Remember that your swim shorts love water – rinse them in fresh water after every use and, whatever you do, never dry clean.
⏤ Your swim shorts are allergic to two products: bleaching agents and bleach based stain removers.
⏤ After washing or rinsing, allow to dry naturally rather than using a tumble dryer.
⏤ Your swim shorts do not need ironing, but if you really must, iron on the reverse at a temperature of 110°C.
Rivea swim shorts are made almost entirely of recycled waste, from the Seaqual fabric, woven from plastic debris recovered from the sea, to the buttons, made from ocean plastic granules.
In line with their values and commitments, their swim shorts are manufactured in small production units in northern Portugal, with whom they have developed strong, lasting relationships. Not just because Europe has labour laws and safety standards to protect its workers, but also because of the environmental impact of transport.
Finally, the prints are inspired by the Riviera and all the stories that surround it. The fabric is printed by sublimation, using water-based, solvent-free inks and a heat press. Not only is this one of the most eco-friendly printing processes, but it also produces some of the most sustainable results, as the colours are highly resistant to the effects of salt, sea and chlorine.
The brand doesn’t stop at making almost 100% eco-friendly swimwear. They also support projects that they hold dear. So for every item of swimwear sold, they donate 1 Swiss Franc to Oceaneye.
Craftsmanship, sustainability and short supply chains lie at the heart of Rivea's approach. A human adventure, where the very best talents have been assembled to make the first swimwear whose life is a journey from the sea to the sea.
