JAM HOSTEL

Barcelona

Jam is an urban youth hostel that was created from the passion to minimize the impact of the hostel’s business operations on natural resources. Firstly, they try to minimize water and energy consumption and use a maximum of renewable energy. They also use products that are responsible and local. For example, cleaning products are green as well as all the food offered in their cafeteria. The hostel bets on a social, collective and proximity based economy. They want to encourage visitors to be more mindful about their consumption, recycle and reuse and also work together to build a more connected society. They have yoga lessons on their huge terrace for only 5 euros and offer free parking for people who get there by bicycle.
